TEXTURE PHOTOGRAPHS- JUST FOR THE PATTERNS, COLOURS AND PLEASURE

These texture photographs are usually cropped in camera when composing, close up to the surface of a material or object. Some are drone images or extracted from a  scene. The images are just for the pleasure of the textures, colours and patterns. Often of materials in the state of degenerating, as for the Exhibition collection. Wonderful, random patterns and colours are revealed if you look at a small part of a scene rather than the whole. Materials deteriorating in the harsh Australian sun in the deserts can accentuate the structure of the material, such as the surface of the 3 plywood images. I hope you enjoy them as I do.
