VOLATILE VISIONS

These 25 photographs were exhibited with the title Volatile Visions in November 2019 at the Incinerator gallery in Willoughby NSW. The theme being materials in a state of change therefore volatile. Waste material, materials degenerating due to weathering, use, abuse or just age. They comprise images that could be termed texture or abstract and I tend to present each with a composition or title that has the potential for an abstract and enigmatic interpretation by the viewer.

 This theme has been one that has interested me for many years and the name came from such a photograph I took even before I’d given a description to the genre.
